Panatta Sport becomes the official supplier of the Russian chain Planet Fitness
Apiro, 23 June. Panatta Sport, a leader in the manufacture of fitness machines has signed a historical agreement with Star Way, a partner of Planet Fitness Holding and supplier of equipment for the most important fitness clubs in Russia and the countries of the Community of Independent States.
The double agreement includes an exclusive distribution contract for Panatta Sport products in Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan as well as a sales contract as official supplier for Russia for the Planet Fitness chain of which Star Way is one of the most important shareholders.
Planet Fitness has been the leading company in the fitness industry for more than 20 years in Moscow and in many other cities in Russia and the Community of Independent states. Its philosophy is based on making a healthy life style affordable to all.
“This is a particular important moment for us – says Prof. Rudy Panatta, owner of Panatta Sport – since it is the first time that we have been chosen as the official supplier of a chain as important as this.”
This result was also attained thanks to the incisive strategy of Panatta Sport which in 2007 acquired Air Machine and later in 2008 started up the partnership with Pininfarina which this year led to the presentation of the new Pininfarina cardiofitness line featuring the Gold and Platinum versions.
The excellent response from managers of gyms and fitness centres as well as the end users of the new Panatta Sport lines encourages the company to continue along this path.
The Russian and East European markets are expanding and the recent agreement signed with Star Way will help to consolidate the position of the company in these countries.
